Specific professional training – supplies

Embark on a specialized professional path in the security of air carrier mail and materials, in-flight supplies and airport supplies!

Our training prepares employees of air carriers, regulated suppliers, and known suppliers of in-flight and airport supplies, as well as airport operator personnel delivering airport supplies to the security restricted area, to responsibly and consciously apply security measures in their daily work, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices in civil aviation security.

Who is the training for?

In accordance with § 15, section 4, point 10 of the KPS, the specific professional training referred to in point 11.2.3.10 of the Annex to Regulation 2015/1998 applies to persons seeking authorization to apply security controls to air carrier mail and materials, in-flight supplies and airport supplies other than security screening, as well as to persons already implementing these security controls.

Knowledge of previous acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation, terrorist acts and current threats.
Awareness of the relevant legal requirements and knowledge of elements contributing to the establishment of a robust and resilient security culture in the workplace and in the aviation domain, including, inter alia, insider threat and radicalisation.
Knowledge of the objectives and organisation of aviation security, including the obligations and responsibilities of persons implementing security controls.
Knowledge of procedures for challenging persons and of circumstances in which persons should be challenged or reported.
Knowledge of reporting procedures.
Ability to identify prohibited articles.
Ability to respond appropriately to the detection of prohibited articles.
Knowledge of how prohibited articles may be concealed.
Knowledge of protection requirements for air carrier mail and materials, in-flight supplies and airport supplies, as applicable.
Knowledge of transportation requirements, if applicable.
Understanding of the configuration of the screening checkpoint and the screening process.
Awareness of access control and relevant screening procedures.
Knowledge of identification cards in use.
Ability to respond appropriately to security related incidents.

Practical information:

The training is conducted in the form of lectures.
