The Regulated Supplier of Airport Supplies is a new category of entity within the secure supply chain, introduced in the latest amendments to the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 of 5 November 2015 laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the common basic standards on aviation security. the following to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA, in polish ULC):

  • an application for approval,
  • a security programme,
  • a Declaration of Commitments – Regulated Supplier of Airport Supplies.

The final stage will involve an on-site verification by CAA inspectors to assess compliance with EU regulations and the procedures outlined in the security programme.
