Internal Quality Control – The Foundation of Quality in Aviation

The requirements for implementing and monitoring internal quality control activities conducted by entities involved in civil aviation security are defined by the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 5 November 2020 on the National Quality Control Programme in the Field of Civil Aviation Security.

According to §32 of the Regulation, internal quality control includes:

  • internal audits,
  • internal inspections,
  • internal tests.

Each of these control activities is conducted in accordance with the relevant sections of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 300/2008 of 11 March 2008, on common rules in the field of civil aviation security.
