Specific professional training - SPX

Who is the training for?

In accordance with § 15, section 4, point 9 of the KPS, the specific professional training referred to in point 11.2.3.9 of the Annex to Regulation 2015/1998 is intended for persons seeking authorization to apply security controls to cargo and mail other than security screening, as well as for persons who already apply such security controls.

Knowledge of previous acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation, terrorist acts and current threats.
Awareness of the relevant legal requirements and knowledge of elements contributing to the establishment of a robust and resilient security culture in the workplace and in the aviation domain, including, inter alia, insider threat and radicalisation.
Knowledge of the objectives and organisation of aviation security, including the obligations and responsibilities of persons implementing security controls in the supply chain.
Knowledge of procedures for challenging persons and of circumstances in which persons should be challenged or reported.
Knowledge of reporting procedures.
Ability to identify prohibited articles.
Ability to respond appropriately to the detection of prohibited articles.
Knowledge of how prohibited articles may be concealed.
Knowledge of protection requirements for cargo and mail.
Knowledge of transportation requirements, if applicable.
Understanding of the configuration of the screening checkpoint and the screening process.
Awareness of access control and relevant screening procedures.
Knowledge of identification cards in use.
Ability to respond appropriately to security related incidents.

Practical information:

The training is conducted in the form of lectures.
Avsec.pl is the only provider offering the option to complete the training in e-learning format for periodic training in both Polish and English.
The training concludes with a theoretical test. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate of completion with a unique QR code, allowing instant verification using any mobile device—without the need for paper documentation.
