Who is the training for?
The training is intended for individuals seeking to obtain instructor qualifications, as well as instructors referred to in §2(6) of the KPS.
- Information on previous acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation, terrorist acts and current threats.
- Civil aviation security regulations.
- Methods and measures used to protect civil aviation against acts unlawful interference.
- Objectives and organization of civil aviation security, including duties and responsibilities of personnel implementing security measures.
- Knowledge of security checkpoint configuration and the security screening process.
- Awareness of access control and relevant security procedures.
- Knowledge of appropriate responses to civil aviation security incidents.
- Knowledge of airport ID cards used in airports.
- Knowledge of incident reporting procedures related to civil aviation security.
- Knowledge of elements contributing to a strong and resilient security culture in the workplace and aviation environment, including internal threats and radicalization.
- Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of security equipment and control methods.
- Knowledge of basic principles of teaching, learning processes, and instructional techniques.
- Knowledge of teaching aids, training methods, and preparation of instructional materials.
- Methodology for planning, organizing, and conducting civil aviation security training.
- Methodology for evaluating knowledge and skills acquired during training, including preparing exam questions and tasks.
- Practical exercises and workshops.
Practical information:
- The course is conducted in the form of lectures, exercises, and practical activities.
- The training concludes with a theoretical exam, administered by an Examination Board appointed by the President of the Civil Aviation Authority, which assesses participants’ knowledge. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate confirming completion of the instructor training.
