Civil Aviation Security Awareness Training

Who is the training for?

According to §15(2) of the KPS, this training is intended for persons other than passengers requiring unescorted access to security-restricted areas, excluding the individuals specified in §15(4) points 4–10 and §15(5)–(7).Completion of this training is a mandatory requirement for obtaining an airport pass authorizing access to the restricted areas of the airport.
Depending on the internal requirements established by the airport operator, it may be necessary to complete training on the airport pass instruction, which includes, among other topics, issues related to the identification cards used at the given airport.

Awareness of previous acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation, terrorist acts and current threats.
Understanding legal requirements and elements contributing to a strong and resilient security culture in the workplace and aviation sector, including. knowledge of internal threats and radicalization.
Knowledge of the objectives and organization of civil aviation security, including the duties and responsibilities of personnel implementing security measures.
Understanding the configuration of security checkpoints and the security screening process.
Awareness of access control and proper security procedures.
Knowledge of airport ID cards used in the airport.
Familiarity with reporting procedures.
Ability to respond appropriately to civil aviation security incidents.

Practical information:

The training is conducted in the form of lectures.

The training concludes with a theoretical test. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate of completion.
