Supervisors Training

Specific training for persons directly supervising persons implementing security controls (supervisors) in accordance with point 11.2.4 of the Annex to Regulation 2015/1998 and §2 point 5 (a) of the National Civil Aviation Security Training Programme (NCASTP, in polish KPS)

Specific training for persons directly supervising persons implementing security controls prepares participants to effectively manage a team, oversee compliance with security procedures, and take appropriate actions in threat situations. The programme has been developed in accordance with national and EU legal requirements to ensure the highest level of preparedness for the role of a supervisor.

Who is the training for?

This training is intended for persons seeking authorization to directly supervise staff applying security controls, as well as for those already directly supervising such staff, as referred to in § 15(5)(1) of the KPS – regardless of completion of training specifically dedicated to the persons they supervise.

Knowledge of the relevant legal requirements and how they should be met.
Knowledge of supervisory tasks.
Knowledge of internal quality control.
Ability to respond appropriately to the detection of prohibited articles.
Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
Ability to provide mentoring and on-the-job training and to motivate others.
Knowledge of conflict management.
Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of security equipment or screening methods used.
Knowledge of previous unlawful acts in civil aviation, terrorist acts, and current threats.
Knowledge of aviation security objectives and organization, including duties and responsibilities of personnel applying security controls.
Understanding the configuration of security checkpoints and the security screening process.
Awareness of access control and relevant security procedures.
Knowledge of airport identification cards used at airports.
Knowledge of reporting procedures.

Practical information:

The training is conducted in the form of lectures.
The training concludes with a theoretical test.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate of completion.

Training of Persons Other Than Passengers Requiring Unescorted Access to Security-Restricted Areas – Civil Aviation Security Awareness Training, in accordance with point 11.2.6 of the Annex to Regulation 2015/1998 and §2 point 2 of the National Civil Aviation Security Training Programme (NCASTP, in polish KPS).

Basic training

Basic training of persons performing tasks as listed in points 11.2.3.1, 11.2.3.4 and 11.2.3.5 as well as in points 11.2.4, 11.2.5 and 11.5, in accordance with point 11.2.2 of the Annex to Regulation 2015/1998 and §2 point 3 of the National Civil Aviation Security Training Programme (NCASTP, in polish KPS)
